It can, however, be taken too far, and here are some of the dangers that a juicer who takes it too far can experience.
Danger #1: Diabetes

Danger #2: Stomach Problems
You find the glucitol called sorbitol in many of the vegetables and fruits in juices. That comes with a lot of health benefits like it protects your teeth from decay, and it helps with processing sugar in the body. In contrast, sorbitol in excess can cause gas, stomach cramps and diarrhea. Those with medical conditions like IBS or GERD should especially exercise caution if they choose to begin with a juice diet. One of the reasons that people start having trouble with their stomachs because of juicing is because of how it alters the pH balance in the stomach and intestines. When that happens, it can lead to undigested whole foods, leaky gut and gallstones.
Danger #3: Keeps You from Chewing
Many times, we take it for granted that chewing food has a real importance to our body function. Similar to how your teeth need blood to keep them healthy, chewing stimulates the blood flows in your teeth so that they stay stronger. When you juice a lot, the activity equates to much less chewing. As a result, your teeth experience less blood flow, which can lead to tooth decay. Leo Willcocks, a kinesiologist, says that chewing also helps to stimulate the digestive track, and when you are not chewing, it can cause a more sluggish digestive tract.
Danger #4: Lack of Minerals and Nutrients
Obesity can have a lot of health problems associated with it like bone thinning, which can cause injury. While some people have tried to do a juice diet for losing weight, they have actually gained weight because the sugars in it can be as bad as soda. As your body can no longer take the new changes, it will start to panic and slow your metabolism to run off the essential proteins. The problem with the juice diet is how it can be difficult to measure the liquids. As a result, you don’t watch your intake and can consume as much as 300 calories for every 16 oz bottle.
Another unforeseen danger of juicing is if you are buying it in the stores, the juices have almost always been pasteurized. This means that the juice has been subjected to high levels of heat to preserve it longer. As a consequence, almost all the natural enzymes, vitamins and minerals will be destroyed in the process. This is less of a problem when you make your own juices, but you have to understand that there’s a limit to juicing so that you can always stay safe.
