Green Beyonce Juice #1: Lemonade

  • 1 bunch of kale
  • ½ of a lemon, peeled
  • 2 apples

This recipe is a great start for anyone new to juicing as it is quick and easy while being delicious and sweet. The apples in this recipe help keep things sweet and the lemon cut the bitterness of kale while boosting your metabolism and giving you a dose of antioxidants. Just be sure to peel the lemon to keep your juice from being overly acidic.

Green Beyonce Juice #2: Sandcastles

  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 2 cups of pineapple
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 of a jalapeño

This juice is great if you want something to bring to the beach with you, or to remind you of summer when you need it. The pineapple gives you a tropical sweet flavor and a boost of vitamin C. The cucumber keeps it refreshing and hydrating and provides important B vitamins. Jalapeno gives the juice a kick and increases your metabolism. Only using half of a jalapeno won’t make it too spicy but you can always add more if you like things hot.

Green Beyonce Juice #3: All Night

  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 2 green apples
  • 1 thumb size piece of ginger
  • 2 ribs of celery
  • 1/2 of an avocado

If you’re having a hard time sleeping at night, or you want to cap off your day with a healthy night-time drink, this juice is the way to go. The ginger will help you relax and calm your mind after a long day, allowing for a more peaceful sleep. The celery will also increase your folate levels, which is integral in most of the bodies processes. Lastly, the avocado will give this juice a creamy consistency, making it a great replacement for ice cream or a milkshake to satisfy any late night cravings you may have.
